It's great how supportive your family is in occasions like this - I believe I was called a "stupid boy" when I got home last night! Andy - it was just a stupid thing to do. I would have been proud of myself had I got round without stopping, even if it had taken 5 hours. As it was, the riding time was abut 3 hours 20 minutes, plus any stops I had to breathe! Definitely off the bike a few days to recover... Peter - at least I wasn’t the only one to suffer a fall!
