Confused? Don’t be.
You’ve probably said yourself “I need to go on a diet”. The problem is, a going on a diet is a short term solution. The practice of going on a diet is to reduce and monitor your caloric intake over a set period of time, until presumably you hit your target weight - whether you’re trying to lose a few pounds for a holiday or a few stone like myself. The issue lies in that most diets don’t cover what happens when you hit your target weight, and most people simply revert to their pre-diet habits and then wonder why the weight has mysteriously returned…
The only true, healthy and dependable way to lose the lbs and keep them off is a permanent healthy lifestyle change. So… throw away the diet plans, stop buying those slimming magazines, stop counting points, don’t mess around with red and green days, stop buying meal replacement shakes and whatever you do, regardless of which super skinny Hollywood star recommends it, DON’T cut out carbs!
